The ClimateGate Files

A few months ago, a news story broke that emails had been hacked from a server of the Climate Research Unit, a research group which collects weather and climate data. Some people have said that the emails and various other forms of data and communication hacked show climate scientists have been using bad data or that they have been manipulating data. Others say there is no wrongdoing. I read some of the emails, a few dozen of them in fact, and became quite bored and noticed that none of the ones I read were in the least inflammatory or incredulous. But read them for yourself and come to your own informed conclusion. Whatever the case, the files are now available widely for casual perusing and critiquing, and I will be mirroring them so that if something happens to Wikileaks, the original host, there will still be at least one copy.
